Located in Montpelier, VA, at 16487 Pleasant Mill Road—conveniently near Route 33 between I-95 and I-64—our shop was designed to serve hardworking drivers, fleets, and owner-operators who need reliable service without the hassle.
Our Story And How We Got Here
United Fleet Service was started by Maksym Armash, whose path into the diesel repair industry is built on hands-on experience and determination. Maksym arrived in the United States in 2018 and began working at an auto repair shop, learning the basics of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair. When COVID-19 changed the transportation industry, Maksym shifted gears—moving into freight and shipping while developing his mechanical skills on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
In 2020, our team started maintaining and repairing our own shipping fleet. This real-world, high-demand experience pushed us to improve our processes, invest in the right tools, and master efficient, dependable repairs under pressure. After years of proven results and steady growth, United Fleet Service officially opened to the public in Spring 2025, bringing fleet-level expertise to drivers across Central Virginia.
What We Do Best
Our shop specializes in services that keep trucks reliable, compliant, and on the road. We handle oil and fluid changes, preventative maintenance, and comprehensive trailer repairs—including alignment, welding, suspension work, electrical diagnostics, brake repairs, and dry van roof repair. We are especially experienced in Volvo engine rebuilds, while continuing to service engines and chassis across all makes and models.
For transmissions, we concentrate on Volvo and Freightliner platforms to ensure precision and long-term dependability. We also offer towing services for vehicles compatible with a tow bar, along with 24/7 roadside assistance when breakdowns can’t wait.
With five service bays, three skilled technicians, and Maksym working hands-on alongside the team, our shop is designed for efficiency without sacrificing quality.
